Golden Animals is a band with the western desert, folk, psychedelic, blues drepression sound. They first released a selftitled four track-Singel/EP in 2007, in 2008 they released their debut album called "Free Your Mind and Win a Pony" with the hit "The Steady Roller". I would really love to see these guys..
The band is made of Tommy (Vocals and guitar) and Linda (Drums and backup vocals), who one night met in a street in Brooklyn. For three years they went around the west US in a van and crashed and played in abandoned houses. Although somehow they managed to do a UK and US tour...
Let's just hope that soon they will get a world tour and get's the fame they deserve..
